Fundraising
Through our fundraising programs, students not only assist the orchestra in reaching its general operation budget but they can also earn funds which can be used to offset costs for trips and fees.
Rock-a-Thon
Our Rock-A-Thon fundraiser is a unique way for all students to raise money for activities with the orchestra this year! Students collect pledges from family members and friends and then come have a fun filled time rockin' the night away! This fundraiser helps the Orchestra tremendously in getting new Uniforms and for our Spring Trips. This party is strictly for orchestra members with pledges. The minimum total pledge amount is $25.00. This means that you must raise at least $25.00 in pledges to participate. No visitors will be allowed. The students will be chaperoned by orchestra parents. The Rock-A-Thon donations will begin Monday Oct.27th & donations will be due on Monday Nov.10th. The Rock-A-Thon party is Friday Nov.14th!
Family Nights
We will try to host at least 2 Family Nights throughout the year. Papa John's, Cici's & Chick-fil-A were great options in the past. This is a great & easy way to help our Orchestra raise money. Flyers will be passed out in class & on this website to use for ordering.
Winter Fundraiser
During the 2014-2015 school year, the Booster Club will hold 2 fundraisers. The Winter fundraiser will start in November & end on December 9th. This fundraiser will be a first for the Orchestra! This will be an auction fundraiser with the additional option of just a donation.
Spring Car Wash
In the Spring, the LCI Orchestra holds an Annual Car Wash. Last year it was held in April & thanks to all the student volunteers & parent helpers we were able to raise $2150 last year!!!!!! This is a fun & rewarding fundraiser for all the students!
